Charlie Vogl is a Cedar Rapids native and has been dancing for over 20 years. He graduated from the University of Iowa in May 2009 after having studied Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management and also holds a Minor in Vocal Music Performance from Cornell College. Charlie has been actively teaching dance, doing free-lance choreography, and directing show choirs in Cedar Rapids since 2003. He instructs Tap, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Ballroom, Tinies classes, and serves as the Co-Director of the Company. His choreography has won numerous awards, including Grand Championship, Best Showmanship and Most Entertaining honors throughout the Midwest. When Charlie isn't dancing, he enjoys audio mixing and editing through his side company, EDGE MEDiA, detailing his car, and spending time with his wife and family.
Stephanie Vogl is also a native of Cedar Rapids and has been dancing in the area for over 18 years. She graduated from the University of Iowa in May 2009 after having studied Finance, Actuarial Science, Entrepreneurship and Dance. While at UI, she had the pleasure of taking class from some of the nation’s best dance instructors and is now pleased to have partnered with the University to offer master classes for Dancer’s EDGE students taught by UI Professors and guest artists from around the world. She is certified by American Ballet Theatre to teach Primary – Level 3 of their world-renowned curriculum and is very excited to bring such an excellent ballet curriculum to students in Iowa. She teaches all levels of ballet, pointe and lyrical, in addition to co-directing the Company. Her choreography has won over a dozen Grand Championships and Best Choreography awards across the Midwest since 2003. She continues to be active in the free-lance choreography and competition adjudication world, having most recently worked with Cedar Rapids Washington HS, Xavier HS, Mt. Vernon HS and McKinley MS.
